🐅 Carlos Stray Cat and Tammy Marie 🦀 Baltimore, MD 🇺🇸 ⚓️🦀💛⛵️🖤🦄 so Much to Do, Exploring Urban Points of Interest, Architectural Integrity, Super Fine Lines

I’d just come back from church, feeling refreshed — that quiet kind of peace you get when the morning settles right. The sun was leaning low, and I was just passing time before the evening chili get-together at the pastor’s house. It was shaping up to be a good day, one of those slow, steady ones where blessings have room to show up.

Carlos — the neighborhood stray cat — had already claimed his sunny corner, and that’s when Tammy Marie stopped by. She carried that quiet look people wear when they’ve been through a bit too much, but she smiled anyway — that kind of smile that reaches out before words ever do.

She’d been having a rough stretch, sleeping out in an abandoned yard for a while, but today she just wanted to say hello — to check if I needed anything, maybe to make sure I was still keeping on. I guess she knows I’m not as young as I used to be.

Without saying much, Tammy grabbed the broom and started sweeping the back courtyard — steady strokes, slow and sure, as if clearing more than just dust. I stood by the doorway, watching her work, talking about how things had been going — how our little corner of the internet, www.eastwindpoems.site, was actually finding its way out there.

When I told her about the unbelievable number of visitors, she looked up with wide eyes — half shock, half wonder — and then we both burst out laughing. The sound rolled through the courtyard like thunder ⚡️🌩⚡️🌪🌀⚡️

After, sunlight breaking loose. Between the laughter came a stream of ideas — small ones, big ones, brilliant ones — all circling the thought that maybe God was stirring something new.

Tammy said she’d start spreading the word through the artistic side of Baltimore, where creativity still breathes in color and sound. She talked about the North Point Flea Market, the local art collectives, and the poetry dinners where people still read aloud from handwritten pages. She reminded me how alive Baltimore really is — the Hippodrome Theatre, the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, the street musicians down by the Inner Harbor, the murals off Charles Street. The city hums with art if you know how to listen. 🎶

The music flowed with stardust sparkles aglow. 🎶🪕🎵

I told her straight — this is just a start. No promises, no paperwork. She doesn’t have to show me proof of how far the cards go. I’ll know, one way or another, if things start growing. If the numbers rise, I’ll remember my people — my team — because that’s just how I roll.

And as all this started taking shape, I gave my brother a head nod — made him CEO, at least in spirit. I’ll stay in the background, the artistic one, the dreamer behind the curtain. That’s how I like it.

When she finished sweeping, Tammy leaned on the broom, and we both just stood there for a while — the stray cat stretching in the last light, the courtyard clean, the air quiet but alive. She smiled again, this time softer, steadier. I could see a hint of hope flicker back in her eyes, and maybe she saw the same in mine.

It’s funny how God works — a stray cat, an old friend, a spark of an idea — and suddenly there’s movement again. Not business, not noise, but purpose.

Baltimore, city of hearts and harbor lights — where grace still walks the streets.
