πŸš€ Why Did They Go? πŸ”

Why Did They Go?

Some said politics.

Some said pride.

Some said it was a race against the Soviets.

Maybe it was all of that.

Apollo 11 launched from Florida in July 1969 with three astronauts aboard and the Moon ahead. It took science, engineering, mathematics, courage, and thousands of people working toward one impossible goal.

They brought back rocks.

They brought back photographs.

They brought back knowledge.

But maybe they brought back something greater:

proof that the distant is not always unreachable.

For thousands of years, people looked up at the Moon.

Then one generation decided to go.

The Moon was the destination.

Wonder was the reason.

Scott L.

Born Blessed in South Korea in 1969 and raised in Baltimore, I’ve built a career with 20 years in customer service and 10 years in behavioral health. The crowning jewel of my studies came when I earned the only passing grade of an A from a Harvard professor β€” a true master of the craft of Shakespeare

And the English language, whose guidance opened the gateway to worlds of imagination, discipline, and wonder.

Married for 25 years, I share the good life with two dogs (Isabella and Juliet) and one cat named Maddie. In my free time, I enjoy writing, biking, gospel music, and spending time with my pastor and friends.
