Scott L. was born in South Korea in 1969. Here in 2026, he remains deeply in love with his wife after more than 23 years of marriage. By the grace of God, he has been blessed bountifully. A seed planted long ago, in the way of Robert Frost, would later grow into a deeper appreciation for creativity, reflection, and imagination.

As Scott’s writing continues to progress, Population Five increasingly moves through a hyperfantasy landscape blending cosmic imagination with faith, symbolism, and everyday life β€” exploring not only wonder and discovery, but also the struggles, concerns, perseverance, and search for peace that shape the human experience. Inspired in part by The Valley of Vision, Scott views reflection, worship, and fellowship as a wellspring of spiritual grounding, wisdom, strength, and continued discovery.

Though Population Five often moves through surreal atmosphere, cosmic imagination, and cinematic storytelling, its purpose is not escapism. Beneath the shifting genres runs a common thread rooted in hope, grace, discovery, and the enduring search for meaning and light β€” a place where people may lay their heads at the end of the day and be at peace.

For Scott, the greatest treasure is living life to the fullest through fellowship, discovery, reflection, and imagination β€” always continuing the journey forward with hope.
