Party in The Green Meadow
Janeβs turtles afloat on a log,
barking in the sun, they point as fast as they can from the pond and tell
of a fourth sheep up yonder,
sipping wild cherry Kool-Aid snoballs
with the boys beneath the bright skyβ
singing, clapping, praising the Lord,
happy and having a great time.
The Star of Freedom (Ursa Minor β The Little Bear)
Polaris,
The Northern Star,
guiding the way to freedom,
constant and unwavering.
The Lodestar,
an ancient word for guiding light,
Polaris pierces the dark with steadfast flameβ

Sugar Plums and Stardust
Three sugar plum fairies woke with stardust eyes,
their laughter bright beneath the skies.
They sought the weary, hearts turned blue,
to mend their dreams and make them true.
Their smirk veiled by a smile,
and whispers heard softly, warm and clear.
They promised joy to all far and near.
βMore stardust!β they sang,
spreading hope as they flew like humming birds,
whizzing byβ
seeking more stardust in the sky.
Three fairies woke with stardust eyes,
and in the night, so calm and deep,
they sowed sweet sparks where dreamers sleep.
A Tale Told in The Castles of Old
The name βforget-me-notβ comes from medieval European legends. One popular tale goes like this:
A knight or lover was picking these tiny blue flowers for his beloved while crossing a river. The current swept him away, but before he drowned, he threw the flowers to her and cried, βForget me not!β The phrase stuck, and the flower became a symbol of faithful love and remembrance.
