π OCTOPUS'S GARDEN π
Following two hours of intense morning training, the warrior found himself facing a difficult decision.
Breakfast.
As fate would have it, he happened to be standing beside a garden pond.
Looking down into the water, he observed two potential candidates.
One octopus.
One neon tetra.
Most of the koi had already made themselves scarce.
After several unexplained breakfast-related incidents over the years, they had learned to exercise caution whenever a hungry warrior appeared near the pond.
The only one who appeared completely unperturbed was the mighty neon.
He ruled the pond.
Or so he believed.
Far below, the octopus rested comfortably upon the pond floor.
The warrior studied the situation carefully.
"I can't seem to make up my mind."
At that moment, a South Korean warrior happened to pass by.
"If you don't want it," he said with a grin, "I'll take the octopus. Can't wait for the tentacles to go down my throat. Yummy."
The octopus immediately sprang into action.
"No! It's him!"
The mighty neon wasted no time raising a fin.
"Take him!"
The octopus pointed with every available tentacle.
The neon pointed with his only available fin.
For several tense moments, accusations flew in every direction.
Above the water, the warriors debated breakfast.
Below the water, the breakfast debated breakfast.
For the first time that morning, the mighty neon began to suspect that ruling the pond and appearing on the menu might not be entirely unrelated.
The octopus, meanwhile, had reached the same conclusion.
