Part 5: Creativity in the Digital Age

Back home, I check my website analytics. In three weeks since the beta launch on October 1st: 1,000 total visits, 500 unique visitors, including six from France. Incredible.

And just in the past 24 hours, the numbers jumped again: France 24 → 30, Brazil at 16, Vietnam dropped to fourth at 13, while Canada jumped in at 15. Watching it happen in real time—France 30, Brazil 16, Canada 15, Vietnam 13—it’s wild.

Even in web design, I don’t think many people could do what I’ve managed. Pages refresh too fast, or not fast enough. Layouts shift. Half the time, you’re guessing what’s going to stick. Who even reads the manuals? I thought I was nearly going crazy, bro. But by the grace of God, I picked it up. Seeing the results, knowing people are reading and connecting—it’s amazing.

Scott L.

Born Blessed in South Korea in 1969 and raised in Baltimore, I’ve built a career with 20 years in customer service and 10 years in behavioral health. The crowning jewel of my studies came when I earned the only passing grade of an A from a Harvard professor — a true master of the craft of Shakespeare

And the English language, whose guidance opened the gateway to worlds of imagination, discipline, and wonder.

Married for 25 years, I share the good life with two dogs (Isabella and Juliet) and one cat named Maddie. In my free time, I enjoy writing, biking, gospel music, and spending time with my pastor and friends.
