IN THE BEGINNING
In the beginning was Your light,
and still You speak,
and Your words are heard today.
We saw it—
water turned to wine, a gift divine.
Joy where there had been none,
a quiet wonder among us.
Then again, we witnessed it:
You spoke, and life returned.
No touch, no delay—
only Your word,
and the dying was restored.
Never before seen—
and we said among ourselves,
You must be the King of Kings.
He did not perform signs to prove He had power.
He performed them because people needed mercy.
And in that mercy, His authority was revealed.
But it did not end there.
You came closer.
Not to crowds alone,
not to spectacle or sign—
but to the broken,
the waiting,
the forgotten.
And You asked:
“Do you want to be made well?”
And then You said:
“Follow Me.”
